After teasing the upcoming Vivo X300 series of smartphones for weeks in China, the brand has finally revealed the launch date. The poster below confirms it will hold a launch event on March 30 to unveil the Vivo X300 Ultra and X300s. Here is a look at what to expect from the upcoming event.

The Vivo X300 Ultra will be the only Qualcomm chip-powered smartphone in the series as the rest of the models, including the X300s feature the Dimensity 9500. The X300 Ultra, on the other hand, will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.
The Vivo X300 Ultra is officially confirmed to feature a Sony LYT-901 200-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-818 ultra-wide lens, and a 200-megapixel Samsung HP0 periscope telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom. The setup is also rumored to feature a 5-megapixel multispectral lens.
The Vivo X300 Ultra will have support for 400mm and 200mm telephoto extender kits. On the other hand, the X300s will have support for the 200mm kit.

The X300s is confirmed to feature a 6.78-inch OLED 1.5K LTPO screen that offers a 144Hz refresh rate. It will be the first X-series phone to pack a huge battery of 7,100mAh capacity.
The March 30 launch event is also expected to see the arrival of the Vivo Pad 6 Pro and a new vlogging camera. The X300 Ultra is also confirmed to be released in the global market in the coming days, whereas the X300s may remain exclusive to the Chinese market for a few months. Later, it may be released as the Vivo X300T in the global market.
