Redmi has officially confirmed the design of the Redmi K90 Max and K Pad 2, which are set to launch later this month in China. The new K90 Max will be positioned between the K90 and K90 Pro Max. Unlike the existing models, which feature Snapdragon 8-series chips, the new offering will come with a Dimensity chipset. Here’s a look at the official details of both devices that have been confirmed so far.
Redmi K90 Max, K Pad design, key specs confirmed

The Redmi K90 Max can be seen in a Space Silver shade in the image above. The K Pad 2 will also be available in the same shade, along with other options such as Spotlight Purple and Deep Black.
The Redmi K90 Max is a performance-focused phone equipped with the Dimensity 9500. The K Pad 2 will also feature the same chipset.

The displays of the Redmi K90 Max and K Pad 2 will support a 165Hz refresh rate. The brand has confirmed that the K Pad 2 will be a compact device, featuring an 8.8-inch LCD panel.
The K90 Max is rumored to house an 8,500mAh battery with 100W charging. Its official image showcases a raised rectangular module on the back, fitted with dual cameras on the left and a built-in fan on the right. The company claims that the fan allows the phone to reduce its internal temperature by 10°C in just 100 seconds.
There is no clarity on whether the Redmi K90 Max will be sold globally. However, the K Pad 2 is likely to be rebranded as the Xiaomi Pad Mini 2 in global markets.
