Vivo unveiled the Vivo X Fold 5 in June last year, and it appears that its successor is fast approaching. In a new development, well-known tipster Digital Chat Station has leaked what appear to be the key specifications of the upcoming Vivo X Fold 6. So far, reports have revealed details about the X Fold 6’s battery and primary camera, but the latest leak focuses on several additional specifications.
Vivo X Fold 6 specifications (rumored)

According to the tipster, the Vivo X Fold 6 will feature an 8.01-inch UTG-enabled inner foldable display that supports a 2K resolution. This is slightly smaller than the 8.03-inch inner display found on the previous generation.
The X Fold 6 is also said to feature a 6.51-inch outer display, which is marginally smaller than the 6.53-inch cover screen on the Vivo X Fold 5. The device is expected to house an enormous 7,000mAh battery and support wireless charging.
The Vivo X Fold 5 came equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, so it was widely expected that the successor would feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5. However, the new leak claims that the device will switch to MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 chipset instead.
For photography, the Vivo X Fold 6 is tipped to feature a 200-megapixel primary camera. It may be accompanied by a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera.
The device is also expected to ship with OriginOS 6 based on Android 16 and include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. For durability, the foldable is tipped to carry an IP58/IP59 rating for water resistance, similar to its predecessor.
The Vivo X Fold 6 is expected to compete with devices such as the Honor Magic V6, Oppo Find N6, and Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 in multiple markets.
