Recently, we’d heard quite a fair bit about the upcoming Honor 50 series smartphones which had been tipped to debut in May next month. Just like its predecessor, the Honor 50 series is likely to be available in several models including the Honor 50, Honor 50 Pro, as well as the Honor 50 Pro+.
Among these devices, the Honor 50 Pro+ is expected to be a flagship model which will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 chipset based on a recent leak. However, this device wouldn’t be the only flagship model launched by the company this year according to reputable leaker Digital Chat Station.
Although he didn’t reveal the actual model of the Honor smartphone, but did confirmed that the phone will powered by the unannounced Snapdragon 888+ mobile platform which is said to boast slight performance boost over the current Snapdragon 888 chipset.
Since the Snapdragon 888+ is expected to break cover only during the third-quarter of the year, we won’t be expecting to see this device anytime soon. In the meantime, most of us are also probably also excited to find out whether the upcoming Honor smartphones, including the Honor 50 series devices, will be coming with Google Mobile Services (GMS) out of the box.
