Alcatel has officially unveiled a new budget-friendly smartphone known as the Alcatel 3X Plus in the Argentine market where the phone carries a launch price of 23,999 ARS (US$243).
The Alcatel 3X Plus sports a 6.22” IPS LCD display that offers a HD+ screen resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, as well as a 5 megapixels front-facing camera that’s housed within it’s U-shaped notch for selfies.
At the back of the phone, it comes with a vertical camera array which houses a trio of cameras including a 13 megapixels main camera, 5 megapixels ultra-wide lens, as well as a 2 megapixels depth sensor.
Under the hood, the Alcatel 3X Plus is powered by an octa-core UNISOC SC9863A chipset which is coupled with 4GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage that can be further expanded via a microSD card.
To keep it’s lights on, the phone draws power from a modest 4,000mAh battery that comes with an unspecified charging speed. The phone will be shipped with Android 10 OS out of the box.
