Alcatel has quietly announced a new budget-friendly smartphone known as the Alcatel 5H in the Argentine market where the phone is priced at 28,999 ARS (US$295).
The Alcatel 5H features a 6.52” IPS LCD display that offers a HD+ screen resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, as well as an 8 megapixels front-facing camera for selfie and video-calling purposes.
On the rear side of the phone, it sports a rectangular camera island which is home to a triple-cam setup comprising of a 48 megapixels main camera as well as a pair of 2 megapixels sensors for macro and depth information.
The Alcatel 5H is helmed by an octa-core MediaTek Helio A25 chipset which is coupled with 4GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage that can be further expanded via a microSD card.
To keep it’s lights on, the Alcatel 5H draws power from a modest 4,000mAh battery with 10W standard charging speed. On the software side of things, the phone is shipped with Android 11 OS out of the box.
