Alleged Galaxy Y55 appears with key specifications in TENAA’s database

An upcoming Samsung phone with the SM-C5560 model number has emerged with key specifications on the TENAA certification platform in China. Unfortunately, neither the images nor the final moniker of the device are known yet. There are some speculations that the Y55 will be marketed as the Galaxy Y55 in China. The alleged Samsung Galaxy Y55 will have a 6.67-inch OLED display with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and possibly a 90Hz or 120Hz refresh rate. On the front, there will be a 13-megapixel selfie camera and a triple-camera system (50-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel) on the back.

The purported Galaxy Y55 will be powered by an unidentified octa-core chip that operates at 2GHz. It will be joined by a 4,855mAh rated value battery, which may have a 5,000mAh typical value.

The alleged Galaxy Y55 will come in 8 GB and 12 GB RAM variants. When it comes to storage, TENAA mentions that it will come in 128 GB and 256 GB storage choices. It is most likely to come preloaded with One UI-based Android 14.

According to TENAA, the Samsung SM-C5560 phone measures 210.942 x 124.74 x 8mm and weighs 322 grams, although there might be discrepancies in these details. With certification in place, the Galaxy Y55 is expected to launch in China later this month. It is advisable to wait for further reports to know the final name and chipset of the SM-C5560.
