Honor unveiled the Honor GT phone powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip in December 2024 in China. The brand is now reportedly working on the Honor GT Pro, which is expected to launch by mid-2025 in the home market. A new leak, courtesy of tipster Digital Chat Station, has revealed the key specs of the device.

In the above leak, tipster Digital Chat Station is seen talking about an Honor phone powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite. While he did not explicitly reveal the name of the device, the chatter in the comments section of the Weibo post suggests that he could be talking about the Honor GT Pro.
The leak states that the alleged Honor GT Pro will feature a 6.78-inch flat OLED panel that offers a 1.5K resolution and an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint scanner. For photography, the device will come equipped with a flagship-grade 50-megapixel primary camera.
The leak suggests that the Honor GT Pro will pack a battery of around 6,000mAh battery and offer 100W charging. While DCS did not mention the launch timeframe of the device, it may launch after the Honor 400 lineup, which is expected to debut in May in China.
In comparison, the Honor GT has a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen that offers a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It has a 50-megapixel dual-camera setup, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, and a 5,300mAh battery with 100W charging.
