A mysterious Vivo phone with model number V2024A has receiver approval from the 3C authority of China. It is not the first time that the handset has been spotted. At the beginning of the previous month, the Vivo V2024A had appeared on Geekbench 5 with a flagship processor. The rumor mill speculated that the V2024A could be the upcoming iQOO 3 Pro 5G smartphone.
The 3C appearance reveals that the Vivo V2024A smartphone supports 5G connectivity. It also suggests that the phone could be shipping in the market with a 55W fast charger.
The iQOO 3 5G phone that debuted in February was fueled by the Snapdragon 865 SoC. Also, the handset was shipped with a 55W charger.
The Geekbench 5 appearance of the iQOO 3 Pro 5G had revealed that it could either be powered by the Snapdragon 865 SoC or the latest Snapdragon 865 Plus mobile platform. The listing had further revealed that the phone has 8 GB of RAM and it runs on Android 10 OS. The rumored specs of the iQOO 3 Pro 5G had appeared last month.
The V2024A 3C’s certification suggests that it may soon bag approval from the TENAA telecom authority of China. Hence, there is a possibility that the phone may go official as early as next month.
Last year, Vivo had launched the Vivo NEX 3 flagship phone in September. It could be possible that the Vivo V2024A may end up as a NEX series flagship phone. Hence, readers are advised to wait for further reports to know the identity of the V20204A phone.
