An alleged list of devices which will sport the latest Snapdragon 845 SoC in 2018 had popped out in Chinese Weibo recently. Although the authenticity of the list may seem dubious, but it still gives us a good heads up on what to expect in the coming year.
Below is the list of Snapdragon 845 powered flagship devices which will be announced in 2018 (as translated from the above list in Chinese):
February
- Samsung Galaxy S8
- Samsung Galaxy S8+
- LG G7
- LG G7+
April
- Xiaomi Mi 7
May
- HTC U12
June
- OnePlus 6
- ZTE Nubia Z18
- Sony Xperia XZ Pro-A
August
- Nokia 10
September
- Xiaomi Mi Mix 3
- LG V40
October
- Google Pixel 3 XL
- ZTE Nubia Z18S
- Sony Xperia XZ2
- HTC U12+
November
- Moto Z 2019
December
- OnePlus 6T
- Samsung W2019
As seen in the list above, it is pretty obvious that it was built upon using the release date of Snapdragon 835-based flagship devices this year which may not be exactly accurate as the mobile makers may choose to announce their successor earlier or later than the year before. Furthermore, the list definitely missed out some other probable flagships which are likely to run on the SD845 like the upcoming ZTE Axon 8 to give an example.
