Recently, we’d just reported on a trio of alleged live shots of the upcoming Meizu 15 Plus which had been slated to be announced during the first-quarter of 2018. Right now, another live shot of the device’s rear chassis had been leaked again – which reaffirms a vertically aligned dual-camera setup on its rear chassis along with a LED flash located slightly below it.
Judging by the design of its rear chassis, the fingerprint sensor will most likely be located at the front either below its mBack button, or perhaps under-the-screen. As seen from the previous leaks, the upcoming Meizu 15 Plus will be coming with a 18:9 widescreen display which is believed to be 5.7-inches in size – similar to the Meizu Pro 7 Plus.
Keeping in mind that Mediatek will no longer produce any more high-end chips for the next one year or two, its easy to assume that the Meizu 15 Plus will be powered by either a Exynos or Snapdragon-based SoC under the hood. According to reports, the Meizu 15 Plus is in fact part of the company’s MX series which features their flagship devices. The model name is re-branded to mark the company’s 15th anniversary next year.
