OnePlus unveiled the OnePlus 12 in December 2023 in China, and it was made official for the global market in January 2024. Rumours are rife that Qualcomm may unveil the next-generation Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 in October this year, which suggests that several Chinese flagship phones will be equipped with the new chip before the end of this year. There is a possibility that the OnePlus 13 may also break cover by the end of this year in China. Well ahead of the expected launch, tipster Digital Chat Station has seemingly leaked key details about what seems to be the OP13.
According to the leaker, OnePlus is working on a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4-powered smartphone. He added that it will not have the circular camera module plus stainless-steel hinge design, which OnePlus has offered on the OnePlus 12 series and the OnePlus 11 lineup.
To recall, the OnePlus 10 series also has a similar design that features a stainless-steel hinge and a square camera module. It appears that OnePlus will offer a completely new design on the OnePlus 13. However, the leaker did not get into the specifics.
At present, it is too early to talk about the OnePlus 13 and concrete leaks related to it are expected to surface several months later. As far as the Chinese market is concerned, the brand is said to be working on a couple of new Ace-branded phones, such as the Ace 3V with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip and the Ace 3 Pro equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. These phones are expected to launch within the first quarter of 2023.
