Oppo is expected to unveil the Oppo Find X8 series of smartphones on Oct. 21 in China. The lineup will have at least three models, such as the Find X8, Find X8 Pro, and Find X8 Pro Satellite Communication Version. While the X8 will have a triple camera system, the Pro variants are expected to house a quad-camera setup. A leaked photo of the alleged X8 Pro has emerged on Weibo to showcase its rear design.
In the above image, the Oppo A3 phone can be seen at the top and a new Oppo phone featuring a round camera island with a Hasselblad logo in the centre can be seen towards the bottom. An LED flash logo is positioned at the upper-left corner.
A closer look at the camera module suggests that there is no LED flash-like component, which is available on the Find X7. This suggests that the handset shown in the image could be equipped with a pair of dual periscope telephoto cameras, indicating that it could be the Find X8 Pro.
The Find X8 Pro’s detailed camera specification is not known yet. However, it appears that it could be equipped with a LYT-600 as one of its periscope telephoto cameras. It is expected to feature a 6.78-inch OLED panel with a micro-quad-curved design.
Under the hood, the device will have the Dimensity 9400 chipset. It is expected to arrive with 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The device will run on ColorOS 15-based Android 15. It may pack a 5,800mAh battery with 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging support.
