In the first half of this year, Realme unveiled the Realme GT Neo 5 flagship phone in 150W and 240W charging variants in China. The device came equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset. In a new Weibo post, tipster Digital Chat Station has leaked information about an upcoming flagship phone, which is likely to debut in the second half of this year. It is speculated that it could be the Realme GT Neo 6.
In the screengrab below, DCS can be seen revealing the key specifications of a forthcoming Realme flagship phone. He revealed that the device will be equipped with a flat display that offers a 1.5K resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and 2160Hz PWM dimming.
In all likelihood, the device could be equipped with the same 6.74-inch OLED panel, that was made available on the Realme GT Neo 5. The tipster added that the device does not have a polycarbonate bracket, which suggests that it could be equipped with a metallic frame.
The device, which appears to be the Realme GT Neo 6, will arrive with the overclocked version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. To recall, the upcoming iQOO 11s is also expected to feature the same chipset.
The alleged GT Neo 6 will support 100W charging and will have a new design. We speculate that the device may sport a round camera module like the Realme 11 Pro series.
