Alleged Red Magic 8 Pro Appears on TENAA with Specifications

Yesterday, some tipsters from China shared the key specifications of the Nubia Red Magic 8 Pro. Today, the alleged device with the NX729J model number has appeared on TENAA with all its major specifications. Here is a look at what to expect from the company’s next gaming flagship.

The Red Magic 8 Pro TENAA listing states that it has 163.98 x 76.35 x 8.9mm dimensions and weighs 228 grams. On the front, it will feature a 6.8-inch OLED display that offers a 1.5K resolution of 1116 x 2480 pixels. It is also expected to offer a refresh rate of 120Hz or higher. Reports have claimed that the device will be equipped with an under-display camera, which indicates that it will offer a very high screen-to-body ratio. The TENAA listing states that it will be equipped with an 8-megapixel selfie camera. The device is also expected to arrive with an under-display fingerprint scanner.

Moving to the back, the purported Red Magic 8 Pro will have a 50-megapixel primary camera. The main snapper will be accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel depth /macro camera.

The 3.2GHz octa-core processor, that powers the alleged Red Magic 8 Pro is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile platform. It is coupled with 8 GB, 12 GB, and 16 GB of RAM. The gaming phone will arrive in storage choices like 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1 TB in China.

According to the listing, the device has two battery variants: 5,720 mAh and 4,900 mAh (rated values). The typical capacities of these variants appear to be 6,000mAh and 5,000mAh. As per the 3C appearance of the device, it will support up to 165W fast charging.
