Alleged Redmi K70 Ultra tipped to ship with 24GB RAM, 1TB storage

A recent leak by a Chinese tipster revealed that Redmi is working on a flagship phone powered by the Dimensity 9300 chipset. The device will reportedly meet the shortcomings of the Snapdragon chipset-powered Redmi K70 and K70 Pro. Hence, it is speculated that the D9300-powered device could be called the Redmi K70 Ultra. In a new Weibo post, the tipster seems to have shared details of the D9300-powered phone. Here is a look at the details the leaker shared in his latest Weibo post.

DCS’ new Weibo post suggests that the Redmi K70 Ultra will feature a new 8T LTPO OLED panel that offers a 1.5K resolution, and it appears the screen will offer a max brightness of up to 5,000 nits. The screen may offer a top-notch viewing experience as it is said to be equipped with ultra-thin bezels.

The leaker added that the current prototype of the device features the Dimensity 9300 chipset, 24 GB of LPDDR5T RAM, and 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage. Unfortunately, he did not share any more information about the device in the leak.

Previous reports have revealed the Redmi K70 Ultra may come with a metal middle frame and may feature a waterproof chassis. The Redmi K60 Ultra was unveiled in August 2023, but the K70 Ultra seems to be coming soon. There is a possibility that it may launch in the first half of this year in China.

In related news, Redmi’s parent brand Xiaomi may hold a launch event in March. It may see the arrival of two devices, namely, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra and Mix Flip flip-style foldable phone.
