Alleged Redmi Note 16 Pro+ could feature a 10,000mAh battery with 100W charging

Next month, Redmi is expected to unveil the Redmi K90 Ultra and K90 Pro in China. Both phones are expected to feature flagship chipsets and are also said to have a built-in fan for an enhanced gaming experience. There’s a possibility that its main brand Xiaomi may unveil a foldable phone around mid-2026 and then shift its focus to the Note 16 lineup, which may break cover in August. Today, tipster Digital Chat Station seemingly shared key details about what appears to be the Redmi Note 16 Pro+.

The latest leak states that Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi is currently testing a new phone featuring a 200-megapixel main camera and a massive 10,000mAh battery with 100W charging. While the tipster did not specify the name of the device, the comment section of the Weibo post suggests that it could be the Redmi Note 16 Pro+.

Previous reports have claimed that the Note 16 Pro series will feature a 200-megapixel main camera. However, not much else is known about the lineup. If the rumor about the Note 16 Pro+ turns out to be accurate, it will arrive as a significant upgrade over the Note 15 Pro+, which features a 7,000mAh battery with 90W charging support.

To recall, the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ features a large 6.83-inch OLED panel that delivers a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It runs on HyperOS 3 based on Android 16.

For photography, it includes a 50-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with 2.5x optical zoom. On the front, it features a 32-megapixel selfie camera.

The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chip, with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage in China. It is available in black, white, blue, and purple shades.
