Recent reports have revealed that Samsung is working on an Android Go smartphone called Galaxy J2 Core. Like the other Android Go phones, the first ever Android Go phone from Samsung will be arriving with low-end specs. Rumors have also revealed that Sammy’s upcoming Android Go phone has a model number of SM-J260. Today, a leaked specs sheet of the SM-J260 has appeared to reveal some of its key specs.
As it can be seen in the image above, the SM-J260 will be arriving with a 5-inch display that will probably carry support for HD resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. The Exynos 7570 SoC that includes a quad-core processor that clocks 1.5 GHz. The chipset is coupled with 1 GB of RAM. The native storage of the phone is of 16 GB. It also features a microSD card slot for additional storage.
A 2,600mAh battery is present under the hood of Samsung SM-J260. It has a rear-mounted camera of 8-megapixel and a frontal shooter of 5-megapixel. The handset is loaded with Android 8.1 Oreo. Most probably, it will be featuring Android Go edition of Oreo.
Recent reports have revealed variants like SM-J260F, SM-J260G and SM-J260M that are expected to release in different regions in Europe, Asia and Latin America. As of this writing, there is no information available on the pricing and launch date of the Galaxy J2 Core smartphone.
