Vivo is expected to announce the Vivo S10 smartphone this month in China. Recent leaks have revealed some of the key specs of the device. Today, a new Vivo handset with model number V2121A appeared at the Geekbench benchmarking site. It seems that this handset could be the upcoming Vivo S10.
The Geekbench listing of the V2121A shows that it is powered by a MediaTek chip. The MT6819Z/CZA model number is a clear hint that the device is equipped with Dimensity 1100, which is the next best MediaTek chip after the Dimensity 1200.
The benchmarking platform further reveals that the D1100 chip will be assisted by 12 GB of RAM. The device will come preinstalled with the Android 11 OS. In the single-core and multi-core tests of Geekbench, the handset recorded 647 and 2398 points, respectively.
Previous leaks have revealed that the Vivo S10 will also be available in the 8 GB RAM model in China. Both RAM variant of the S10 is likely to offer users with 4 GB of virtual RAM, which enables users to launch apps smoothly. It is speculated that the device will offer up to 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. While there is no word on the battery capacity of the S10, it is expected to ship with a 44W rapid charger.
A leaked shot of the phone that was spotted recently revealed that the Vivo S10 will be sporting a 108-megapixel triple camera system. Rumors have it that the S10 will continue to sport an AMOLED screen with a dual selfie camera system housed inside a large-sized notch like the Vivo S9. The handset is expected to offer other features like NFC and an in-screen fingerprint scanner.
