Tipster Digital Chat Station recently leaked the key specifications of the Vivo S17 and S17 Pro. Now, the tipster is back with what appear to be the camera configurations of the Pro model.
As can be seen in the screengrab below, the tipster has revealed the camera specifications of a smartphone without mentioning its name on Weibo. However, he has revealed that he is talking about the “S” series phone in the comments section of the post. Hence, it appears that he is talking about the Vivo S17 Pro’s cameras.
As can be seen, the Vivo S17 Pro is likely to feature a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766V “Super Spectrum” primary camera with OIS support. It will be paired with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 12-megapixel Sony IMX663 portrait camera with centre focus.
The tipster previously revealed that the Vivo S17 Pro will come equipped with an OLED curved-edge screen from BOE that offers a 1.5K resolution. The Vivo S17 is also expected to feature the same display.
The Vivo S17 is said to be powered by the Snapdragon 778G or Snapdragon 782G chipset and 8 GB / 12 GB of RAM. On the other hand, the Vivo S17 Pro is likely to arrive with the Dimensity 8200 chipset and 16 GB of RAM. Both devices are expected to offer 128 GB / 256 GB of storage and support 80W charging.
The Vivo S17 series is expected to launch in China in May. The S17 and S17 Pro have model numbers V2283A and V2284A, respectively. The S17e is said to have the V2285A model number.
