In October, Vivo unveiled the Vivo X200, X200 Pro Mini, and X200 Pro in China. These phones debuted as the world’s first phones powered by the Dimensity 9400 SoC. A new Weibo post by renowned tech blogger Digital Chat Station reveals that Vivo may launch the Vivo X200s phone in the coming months. Although the tipster did not specify the name of the phone, the leaked specs suggest that it could be an upgraded version of the X200.
Vivo X200s specifications (rumored)
The leak suggests that the Vivo X200s will be a minor upgrade from the X200. Like the existing model, the X200s promises to be an all-rounder lightweight imaging flagship, equipped with notable advancements and improvements over its predecessor.
The Vivo X200s will feature a 6.67-inch flat display, a shift from the X200’s curved OLED screen. It will continue to support a 1.5K resolution and LTPS technology. The device will continue to feature a metal mid-frame and a white glass back.
Under the hood, the X200s is powered by the Dimensity 9400 processor, paired with 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of internal storage. One of the major upgrades on this device is its battery capacity, which exceeds 6,000mAh, providing users with extended usage time. Additionally, the phone will support 90W rapid charging. In comparison, the X200 has the same chip, RAM, and storage but packs a slightly smaller 5,800mAh battery.
The Vivo X200’s rear camera setup includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX921 primary sensor, a 50-megapixel 3x zoom periscope lens, and a 50-megapixel Sony LYT600 ultra-wide-angle lens. It has a 32-megapixel camera on the front for selfies. As of this writing, there is no information available about the camera capabilities of the Vivo X200s. Additionally, it remains unclear if the device will feature an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor. As far as the X200 is concerned, it has an optical type fingerprint sensor.
The Vivo X200s is likely to debut around six months after the X200. It is likely that the X200s may break in April or May in China.
