An upcoming Vivo smartphone bearing the model number Vivo V2156A had been certified by the Chinese TENAA authority. This device, according to reports, is likely to be launched under the Vivo Y55s branding in the Chinese market.
According to the information published on TENAA, the Vivo Y55s will feature a 6.58” TFT display which offers a FHD+ screen resolution with no mention on it’s refresh rate. The device also features a central hole-punch cutout (which isn’t really obvious from the image) that houses an 8 megapixels selfie camera.
On the flipside, the phone has a rectangular camera island which is home to a dual-cam setup comprising of a 50 megapixels main camera as well as a 2 megapixels auxiliary camera. This will be assisted by a LED flash that helps in low-light photography.
Under the hood, the Vivo Y55s is rumored to be powered by a 5G-ready MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset which is likely to feature up to 8GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage in the memory department.
To keep it’s lights on, the Vivo Y55s draws power from a modest 4,000mAh battery which may be accompanied by some form of fast-charging solution. Expectedly, the phone will be shipped with Android 11 OS out of the box.
