Recently, Realme had just announced the new Realme GT Neo smartphone which features the latest MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset. Its in fact the first smartphone in the world to debut with this chipset.
Now, new rumors out of the Chinese market have suggested that the company is now prepping for an upcoming smartphone which will be powered by a slightly toned-down, Dimensity 1100 chipset. This is the same chip which is used in the recently announced Vivo X60t and S9 devices.
Besides Realme, Redmi was also reportedly working on a Dimensity 1100-powered smartphone which could well be the upcoming gaming-centric smartphone that’s slated to be launched towards the end of the month.
At the moment, there’s isn’t any words on the identity of this Dimensity 1100-powered Realme smartphone. However, there’s a possibility that the device could be the RMX3142 device which was recently certified by the Chinese TENAA authority.
