Apple iPhone SE 2 Rumored to Arrive with iPhone 8 Like Design and Apple A13

The size of iPhones has consistently increased in the past few years. In 2016, Apple had launched the much anticipated 4-inch iPhone SE smartphone. The handset is no longer available for purchase, but the rumor mill has been speculating on the second-generation iPhone SE since 2017. Last month, Nikkei had claimed the rumored iPhone SE 2 may debut in the first quarter of 2020. A fresh report by popular analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has also confirmed the same timeframe. Also, he has shared key information on the specs of the iPhone SE 2 and its design.

The report reveals that the iPhone SE 2 will be arriving with a design that is similar to the iPhone 8 from 2017. It means that the iPhone SE 2 may not feature a wider notch like the recent iPhone X models. Hence, the display could be surrounded by thick-sized bezels.

It is speculated that the iPhone SE 2 will be featuring the new Apple A13 SoC that the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max smartphones that were made official last month. The SoC of the phone could be assisted by 3 GB of RAM. Like the iPhone 8, it could be fitted with a 4.7-inch LCD display and it may come preloaded with iOS 13.
