ASUS has announced a new entry-level Android slate in the Chinese market known as the ASUS Adolpad 3 which carries an affordable starting price of just 1,599 Yuan (US$252).
The ASUS Adolpad 3 builds around a wide 10.4” IPS LCD display which features a decent 2,000 x 1,200 pixels screen resolution and 60Hz refresh rate. Other than that, there’s also a 5 megapixels front-facing camera housed along it’s longer side to help with selfie and video calls.
On the rear side, the tablet features a huge Adolpad logo at the center which allows it to be easily recognized. Likewise, it also has a fairly small-sized camera module which play host to a 16 megapixels wide camera.
To handle all the processing needs on the tablet, the ASUS Adolpad 3 is powered by an octa-core UNISOC Tiger T618 chipset which will be paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage that supports expansion via an external microSD card.
At the helm, the slate is equipped with a mammoth 8,000mAh battery which carries an unspecified charging speed. Software-wise, the ASUS Adolpad 3 will be shipped with Android 11 OS out of the box.
