ASUS confirmed recently that it will be launching the ROG Phone 3 gaming smartphone in China in July. The handset has already appeared at the database of China’s TENAA telecom authority with all its specifications. With July launch nearing, the ROG Phone 3 is busy bagging necessary certifications. Now the Bluetooth SIG regulatory body has certified the gaming phone.
As can be seen in the screenshot, the Bluetooth SIG has certified ASUS_I003D and ASUS_I003DD model numbers that belong to the ASUS ROG Phone 3. Last month, these models had received certification from Wi-Fi Alliance through which it was known that the phone will arrive with Wi-Fi 6. The ASUS_I003DD is the variant heading to China as it surfaced at TENAA earlier this month. The Bluetooth SIG listing states that the phone carries support for Bluetooth 5.1 and Bluetooth 5.2.
