Recently, ASUS had revealed that the feverishly-anticipated ROG Phone 3 will break cover in July this month without specifying the actual date. Now, the company has finally announced that the next-generation’s gaming flagship will debut on July 22nd this month.
Although the ROG Phone 3 has yet to be made official, but we’d already seen its real life images and learned pretty much about its specs via its TENAA listing.
As seen from its live image, the ROG Phone 3 will continue to feature a future-proof design tailored towards mobile gamers. Just like any other ASUS ROG Phones, the upcoming model also has a signature “Republic Of Gamers” logo with RGB lighting effect that will give off a cool, yet intimidating vibes. Towards the bottom of the device, there is also a “Tencent Games ” emblem as well.
Based on what we’d learned from its TENAA listing, the ASUS ROG Phone 3 will be featuring a 6.59-inches FHD+ AMOLED display with in-display fingerprint scanner. Rumors have it that the screen refresh rate will be bumped up from 120Hz to a buttery-smooth 144Hz refresh rate.
The ROG Phone 3 will be driven by an overclocked version of the Snapdragon 865 platform which will be paired with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage capacity in its memory department.
In its imaging department, the ASUS ROG Phone 3 will be featuring a triple-cameras array at the rear consisting of a 64 megapixels main camera which is likely to be accompanied by an ultra-wide lens s a telephoto/ depth helper. This will be supported by a 13 megapixels selfie camera at the front.
At the helm, the Asus ROG Phone 3 draws power from a 5,800mAh battery that comes with fast-charging support. The device will also be shipped with Android 10 OS out of the box.
