ASUS ROG Phone 3 (ZS661KS) Bags EEC Certification

ASUS is expected to announce the ROG Phone 3 gaming smartphone this month. The handset has been recently spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking platform and Wi-Fi Alliance with ASUS_I003DD model number. The ZS661KS model number has surfaced on the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) platform. It seems to be associated with the upcoming ROG Phone 3 gaming phone.

The accessory page on the official website of ASUS states that the ZS661KSĀ indeed belongs to the ROG Phone III. So, EEC is just another certification that the smartphone has bagged. It indicates that the gaming phone will be heading to European markets.

Currently, the accessory page only mentions a single USB-C charging cable for the ROG Phone 3. The Taiwanese company is likely to sell more accessories for the device.

The Geekbench appearances of the ASUS ROG Phone 3 have revealed that it will be arriving in 8 GB RAM and 12 GB RAM versions. The phone will be loaded with Android 10 OS. It will draw power from the Snapdragon 865 mobile platform. The other specifications of the gaming phone is under the wraps. Some reports have claimed that the ASUS ZenFone 7 will also get announced in July. However, the rumor mill is yet to reveal any concrete information on its specifications.

In related news, the EEC certification site has also approved smartphones such as OPPO CPH2126, Motorola XT2081-2, and XT2083-3. The identifies of the OPPO and Motorola phones are not known yet.
