Yesterday, Nubia announced the Red Magic 6 series of smartphones in China. The Red Magic 6 Pro was made official as the world’s first smartphone with 18 GB of RAM. Now, the upcoming ASUS ROG Phone 5 that has a model number of ASUS_I005DB has appeared at Master Lu benchmarks with 18GB of RAM.
The ASUS ROG Phone 5 variant with 18 GB of RAM was previously seen earlier this week at Geekbench benchmarking platform. The Master Lu listing of the smartphone shows that its screen offers a resolution of 1080 x 2448 pixels and it is powered by Snapdragon 888 mobile platform along with 18 GB of RAM.
Master Lu said that it is the first time that an 18 GB RAM has been benchmarked by Master Lu. It revealed that the 18 GB RAM variant of the ROG Phone 5 is equipped with 512 GB of storage.
The ROG Phone 5 with SD888 and 18 GB of RAM managed to record the highest score of 947,284 at Master Lu benchmarks. This number is a sum of CPU, GPU, memory, and storage performance tests in which the smartphone scored 321,067, 351,767, 133,998, and 140,455, respectively.
