ASUS had recently released a launch invitation of an upcoming launch that will be held on Aug. 19. Even though it was not directly mentioned on the invitation, the Taiwanese company is heavily pegged to unleash the ASUS ZenFone 4 series phones on the said date. Today, the Taiwanese company has confirmed through its official site that it will be also holding an unveil event on Aug. 17.
The information on the official site confirms that the event will be at Taipei District in Taiwan. This suggests that the Aug. 17 will be a global launch event of the ASUS ZenFone 4. However, the Aug. 19 event seems to be a local event for ASUS fans in the Philippines. The teaser present on the website reveals that a popular South Korean star named Gong Yoo would be the brand ambassador of ZenFone 4.
The actor seems to be holding a ZenFone 4 handset in his hands. The smartphone held by the actor has dual rear cameras on its left corner. As of this writing, there is no confirmation whether the launch will be solely unveiling the ZenFone 4 or other rumored devices from the same series such as ZenFone 4 Pro, ZenFone 4V and ZenFone 4 Selfie.
