Asus ZenFone 5Z Receives TENAA Certification; Likely to Land in China Soon

Asus had introduced the ZenFone 5Z flagship along with the ZenFone 5 and ZenFone 5 Lite at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018 event. The Taiwanese company is now working on bringing the ZenFone 5Z to multiple markets after its recent debut in Europe. The handset has also arrived in India with a highly aggressively price tag. Now that the ZenFone 5Z has been certified by TENAA certification body, it is expected to debut in China.

The model number of Asus ZenFone 5Z is ASUS_Z01RD. The same handset has surfaced on the website of the Chinese telecommunications agency. The smartphone features a 6.18-inch IPS LCD screen that offers 19:9 aspect ratio and FHD+ resolution of 2246 x 1080 pixels. The handset measures 153 x 75.6 x 7.85mm and weighs 155 grams. It is fueled by a 3,150mAh battery.

ASUS Zenfone 5, ZenFone 5Z

The 4 GB, 6 GB and 8 GB RAM variants of the ZenFone 5Z for China will respectively feature 64 GB, 128 GB and 256 GB of internal storage. It is driven by a 2.8 GHz octa-core processor that is present inside the Snapdragon 845 SoC. The handset is preinstalled with Android 8.0 Oreo. The frontside of the ZenFone 5Z features an 8-megapixel camera that is placed inside the notch. The backside of the phone is fitted with a pair of 12-megapixel snappers.

The pricing of the Asus ZenFone 5Z for China is not known. Since it has arrived with a pricing that lower price tag than OnePlus 6 in India, it is likely to arrive with an entice pricing in China.
