The ASUS ZenFone 6 flagship phone has gone official. Unlike last year, the Taiwanese firm did not launch multiple phones like ZenFone 5, ZenFone 5Z and ZenFone 5 Lite. The ZenFone 6 is packed with some impressive features like SD855 SoC and a swivel camera with 48-megapixel camera.
The ZenFone 6 that has a model number of ZS630KL is fitted with a 6.4-inch IPS LCD full HD+ panel. The handset is equipped with a notch-less display that is protected by Gorilla Glass 6. The Sony IMX586 48-megapixel + 13-megapixel (ultrawide) dual camera setup is available on its rear. It is a rotating camera module that is made out of Liquid Metal. There is no selfie camera on the device. The rear cameras can automatically rise up for capturing selfie shots. The smartphone is packed with a 5,000mAh battery that carries support for 27W rapid charging.
The Android 9 Pie OS customized with ZenUI 6 is available on the device. The handset will be treated with Android Q and Android R updates in the future. It comes with a rear-facing fingerprint scanner and a Smart key
The ASUS ZenFone 6 will be available for purchase from May 23. It carries a price tag of 500 euros. Black and Silver Gray are the two color variants of the ZenFone 6.
