The Asus_I01WD smartphone was spotted recently on Geekbench with Snapdragon 855 SoC. The Geekbench listing suggested that it could be the successor of the ZenFone 5Z from last year. Hence, it may hit the market as ZenFone 6Z. The alleged ZenFone 6Z has appeared on AnTuTu with the same model. The AnTuTu listing has confirmed some of its key specs and average benchmarking score of 363k+.
The ZenFone 6Z AnTuTu listing comes with Android 9 Pie OS preloaded. The Snapdragon 855 chipset with Adreno 640 graphics onboard powers the phone with 6 GB of RAM. It comes with a native storage of 128 GB. The smartphone carries support for full HD+ resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. The ZenFone 5Z came with a wider notch. Hence, the successor of the ZenFone 6Z may feature a smaller notch. Probably, it could be sporting a waterdrop-style notch or it may come with a punch-hole screen.
Recent reports have revealed that the phone the alleged ZenFone 6Z will be a featuring a triple camera module. AnTuTu claims that the phone is equipped with Sony IMX586 48-megapixel sensor in its triple camera module. The handset is rumored to arrive with an in-display fingerprint reader. It has revealed that it will be coming with a base model with 64 GB of native storage.
On AnTuTu, the purported ZenFone 6Z has scored 363,172. Asus will be announcing its ZenFone 6 series on May 16. The series may include entry-level ZenFone 6 Lite, mid-range ZenFone 6 and flagship ZenFone 6Z smartphones.
