Recently, we’d heard that ASUS is currently prepping the all-new Zenfone 8 series smartphones which were tipped to include at least three different models including the Zenfone 8, Zenfone 8 Pro, as well as Zenfone 8 Mini.
Among these devices, the most interesting one will not doubt be the Zenfone 8 Mini as this will be the first time ASUS releases a compact model from its flagship Zenfone series.
According to recent reports, the upcoming ASUS Zenfone 8 Mini is said to feature a 5.92-inches OLED display that offers a FHD+ screen resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. In the camera department, the device is will reportedly be coming with a 64MP Sony IMX686 primary camera alongside an unannounced Sony IMX663 imaging sensor.
Now, its newly spotted Geekbench 5 listing continues to spill even more information on this device. Most importantly, the listing confirmed that the Zenfone 8 Mini will indeed be powered by the Snapdragon 888 chipset which will be paired with a hefty 16GB RAM in the memory department.
In terms of performance, the Zenfone 8 Mini attained an impressive score of 1,121 points and 3,662 points respectively for its single-core and multi-cores benchmark tests.
At the moment, that’s all the information we have on the upcoming Zenfone 8 Mini. It remains to be seen whether the device will be arriving with the signature flip-camera module though its highly unlikely given its compact size.
