The ASUS ZenFone V is the new smartphone from the Taiwanese manufacturer. The handset was previously speculated as the carrier-exclusive edition of the ZenFone 4. However, the handset that has a model number of V520KL has arrived with different specs.
The ZenFone V features a 5.2-inch AMOLED display that supports a resolution of 1,920 x, 1080 pixels. The Snapdragon 820 chipset is present under the hood of the device. The other ASUS handset that features the same SoC is the ZenFone 3 Deluxe that was released last year.
The chipset of the ZenFone V is supported by 4 GB of RAM. The native storage available on the smartphone is 32 GB and users can also add a microSD on the device for additional storage.
The ASUS ZenFone V has a rear-facing camera of 23-megapixel with f/2.0 aperture and it is equipped with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). The front-facing camera of the ZenFone V is 8-megapixel. The handset also features a USB-C port and is packed with 3,000mAh. It is enabled with PowerDelivery 2.0 fast charging feature. The other features of the ZenFone Vi include 3.5mm audio, front-facing fingerprint reader, v4.2 Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Android 7.0 Nougat baked with ZenUI 3.0.
The smartphone carries a pricing of $384 on Verizon store. It can be purchased by paying the full retail price or with $16 monthly installments for 24 months.
