Xiaomi’s gaming smartphone division Black Shark has confirmed that it will be launching the Black Shark 2 smartphone on March 18. Soon after the official confirmation, AnTuTu shared the benchmarks listing of the “Blackshark Skywalker” that is believed to be the codename of the Black Shark 2 smartphone.
The Black Shark 2 AnTuTu listing reveals that it is fitted with a 1080 x 2340 pixels full HD+ resolution supporting screen. The phone offers higher aspect ratio of 19.5:9 compared to the predecessor Black Shark phones with 18:9 aspect ratio screens. Probably, the phone could be arriving with a waterdrop-style notch screen.
The Black Shark 2 is powered by Snapdragon 855 chipset and 8 GB of RAM reveals the AnTuTu listing. According to AnTuTu, the smartphone will be hitting the markets in 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. The Android 9 Pie OS is preloaded on the device. The average benchmarking score recorded by the smartphone is of 359,973.
The Black Shark 2 will be also carrying support for 27W fast charging. However, the other specs of the phone are still under the wraps. A leaked photo of the phone that had appeared in the recent past had revealed that it will be featuring a vertical dual camera setup on the top-left its rear shell.
