Today, Black Shark confirmed that the Black Shark 4 series of gaming phones will launch at 3 PM (local time) on March 23 in China. Past reports have suggested that the company will be launching the lineup will include two models such as Black Shark 4 and Black Shark 4 Pro.
It can be said based on recent reports that the Black Shark 4 Pro’s model number is KRS-A0, whereas the Black Shark 4 has a model number of PRS-A0. Both smartphones are expected to feature 120W fast charging for their 4,500mAh batteries.
It is speculated that the Black Shark 4 is driven by the Snapdragon 870 mobile platform. On the other side, the Snapdragon 888 will be powering the Black Shark 4 Pro. Both models are expected to arrive with a 6.67-inch screen.
The vanilla model will support a Full HD+ resolution. However, it is not clear whether the Pro variant will support an FHD+ or QHD+ resolution. Both models are expected to carry support for a 144Hz refresh rate.
Yesterday, Black Shark CEO Luo Yuzhou shared a camera sample of the Black Shark 4 Pro. The watermark on the image revealed that it is equipped with a triple camera system. According to a well-known tipster from China, the Black Shark 4 Pro is equipped with a 108-megapixel primary camera.
The Black Shark 4 is likely to arrive a toned-down version of the Pro model. Hence, the company may settle for a 48-megapixel or 64-megapixel triple camera setup on the vanilla model. Both devices will come preloaded with Android 11 OS.
