Black Shark 5 series of smartphones will be launching at 7 PM (local time) on March 30 in China. The company confirmed the arrival of the new Black Shark lineup through its Weibo handle. A fresh leak by tipster WHY LAB has revealed that the lineup may include two models, such as Black Shark 5 Pro and Black Shark 5 RS.
In February, two Black Shark phones with model numbers PAR-A0 and KTUS-A0 were spotted at the TENAA certification platform. Previously, these models were expected to launch as the Black Shark 5 and Black Shark 5 Pro. There is a possibility that the two models may end up as the Black Shark 5 RS and Black Shark 5 Pro. The tipster revealed that both models will be powered by Qualcomm’s flagship chips.
The Black Shark PAR-A0 model has a 6.67-inch AMOLED FHD+ screen with an in-display fingerprint sensor. The device seems to be powered by a 3.2GHz chip, 8 GB / 12 GB of RAM, 128 GB / 256 GB of storage, and a 4,650mAh (rated value) battery.
It is expected to feature a 13-megapixel selfie camera and a 64-megapixel triple camera unit. The device is likely to carry support for 120W fast charging.
The Black Shark KTUS-A0 model has a 6.67-inch AMOLED FHD+ screen with an in-display fingerprint scanner. It is likely to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip, 8 GB / 12 GB / 16 GB of RAM, 256 GB / 62 GB of storage, and a 4,650mAh (rated value) battery.
It may come with a 13-megapixel front camera and a 108-megapixel triple camera system. It is also expected to support 120W fast charging.
