The Black Shark 5 series included three devices: the Black Shark 5, the Black Shark 5 Pro, and the Black Shark 5 RS. It is unclear whether the forthcoming Black Shark 5S series will have an RS model. The Black Shark 5S and 5S Pro may feature a 6.67-inch OLED screen, which could be integrated with a fingerprint scanner. It will be a pressure-sensitive panel that will support a Full HD+ resolution. While it is not mentioned in the leak, it is likely to have support for a refresh rate of 144Hz.
The Black Shark 5S and its Pro sibling may inherit the same triple camera system, which was made available on the Black Shark 5 lineup. The standard model will have a 64-megapixel main camera, while the Pro model could have a 108-megapixel sensor. There will also be an x-axis linear motor, two linear stereo speakers, and two magnetic pop-up triggers in the Black Shark 5S series.
The Black Shark 5S duo will be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. According to the source, it will be paired with a new SSD storage technology. It will include a 4,790mAh battery that will support 120W rapid charging.
