Android Rumors Black Shark Leaked News

Black Shark 6 Series Specifications Tipped

Last year in March, Black Shark announced the Black Shark 5, 5 Pro, and 5 RS in the Chinese market. Rumors are rife that the company could be working on the Black Shark 6 series, which may debut in the first quarter of 2023. Today, tipster Digital Chat Station, shared the key details of the Black Shark 6 series.

According to the tipster, the Black Shark 6 series will have a flat display with a centred punch-hole. The leak states that it will support a 2K resolution, but there is no word on the refresh rate. To recall, the Black Shark 5 series features FHD+ AMOLED panels that support a 144Hz refresh rate.

Under the hood, the Black Shark 6 series will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile platform. It will pack a 5,000mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging.

For photography, it will have a Sony IMX686 primary camera. The leak also states that the series will have dual symmetrical speakers for stereo output. It will have the strongest active cooling system for heat dissipation, claims the tipster. Lastly, the device will sport a ceramic build.

The Black Shark 5 and 5 Pro have identical specifications, but they mainly differ in the rear camera department. Hence, there is a possibility that the Black Shark 6 and 6 Pro may come with the same specs but offer different camera capabilities.

The tipster did not share any information on the launch timeframe for the Black Shark 6 series. In all likelihood, it may debut in March in the home market.
