Black Shark is the Xiaomi backed company that will be holding a launch event tomorrow to officially debut a new gaming phone. In the recent past, the rumor mill had leaked some photos of the phone. However, the company was quick to respond that those rumors were ugly and fake. Today, a new video has surfaced on Weibo that reveals the Black Shark gaming phone from the front and rear.
Black Shark gaming phone in the newly leaked video appears to be sporting rounded corners. Its side bezels are quite narrow, but the upper and lower bezels are thick. The bottom bezel houses a fingerprint sensor enabled home button. The screen shows MIUI like icons which corroborates on previous rumors that the handset will be running on a custom version of MIUI. The top portion of the back panel is occupied by horizontal dual camera setup. The remaining portion of the back panel of the phone has a very sporty appeal.
Previous leaks have revealed that the Snapdragon 845 and fast charging enabled battery will be powering it. Its 128 GB and 256 GB storage models are expected to respectively feature 6 GB and 8 GB of RAM.
Xiaomi has already started registrations for the Black Shark gaming phone on its website. At present, there is no information available on the pricing of the phone. The handset is slated to go on sale from April 20.
