BlackBerry Evolve and Evolve X are the latest BlackBerry phones that have landed in India. Both the phones are packed with security features BlackBerry Password Keeper, Privacy Shade, BlackBerry Hub and BlackBerry Power Center for optimized battery performance. The Evolve and Evolve X are also the first BlackBerry smartphones to arrive with 18:9 aspect ratio displays.

The Evolve duo feature 5.99-inch IPS LCD display that supports FHD+ resolution. Their screens are shielded by Gorilla Glass 5. The Android 8.1 Oreo comes preinstalled on these phones. Both of them are powered by 4,000mAh batteries that carry support for Quick Charge 3.0. Only the Evolve X is enabled with support for wireless charging.
An LED equipped front-facing camera of 16-megapixel is present on both smartphones. The other common features of BlackBerry Evolve and Evolve X are USB-C, 3.5mm audio, USB OTG, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and 4G VoLTE.
The Evolve has Snapdragon 450 and 4 GB of RAM. It is fitted with a pair of 13-megapixel rear cameras. The Evolve X has Snapdragon 660 and 6 GB of RAM. It features 12-megapixel + 13-megapixel dual rear camera.
The Evolve and Evolve X are respectively priced at Rs. 24,990 and Rs. 34,990. Amazon India will be the exclusive purchase channel for theses phones with the sales of Evolve starting later this month while the Evolve X will be available by mid-September. Both phones will be later made available through offline retailers.
