American smartphone maker BLU has announced a new mid-range model known as the BLU G91 Max in the U.S. market where the phone carries an affordable launch price of just US$230.
The new BLU G91 Max builds around a large 6.8” IPS LCD display which offers a FHD+ screen resolution along with a standard 60Hz refresh rate. Other than that, it also has a 16 megapixels front-facing camera that’s housed within a centered hole-punch cutout.
On the rear side, the phone has a rectangular-shaped camera island which houses a quad-camera unit. These cameras include a 108 megapixels main camera, 5 megapixels ultra-wide camera, as well as a pair of 2 megapixels cameras for macro and depth information.
Under the hood, the BLU G91 Max is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G95 chipset which will be paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage which supports further expansion via a microSD card.
To keep it’s lights on, the BLU G91 Max is backed by a 5,000mAh battery which carries support for 18W wired charging and 10W wireless charging. Other than that, the device also features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm headphone jack, and is shipped with Android 11 OS out of the box.
