Earlier this month, we dropped the bombshell that the Vivo X50 series will debut in several markets on July 16th/ 17th this month. Now, Vivo has officially confirmed that the X50 series will indeed be announced in India and Russia on July 16th.
However, India and Russia will not be the first global market to launch the new smartphone series as it had already been made official in Cambodia yesterday.
As expected, only the Vivo X50 and X50 Pro were announced during the launch event in Cambodia. The higher-end Vivo X50 Pro+ was sadly omitted from the official launch.
Although the global variant of the X50 Pro comes with identical specs as the Chinese variant, but the vanilla X50 do have some minor changes to its internals. More specifically, the global variant of the Vivo X50 is powered by a Snapdragon 720G SoC instead of the Snapdragon 765G SoC which was found in the Chinese variant.
In terms of pricing, both the Vivo X50 and X50 Pro are priced at US$559 (INR42,000) and US$859 (INR64,560) respectively in Cambodia.
