Unlike other major smartphone makers, HTC seems to dislike the idea of announcing their latest flagship devices during the annual Mobile World Congress. According to the folks at Android Headlines, an anonymous HTC insider had tipped them that the Taiwanese smartphone giant will once again skip their launch event in the upcoming MWC but will be holding a separate event after the MWC.
This doesn’t really caught us by surprise keeping in mind that the company had been skipping its flagship announcement during the MWC for the past couple of years. If you can still remember, the last flagship device which they unveiled during the event was the HTC One M9 back in 2015.
Although HTC has been keeping mum on the unveiling date of their new flagship (probably called the HTC U12), but reports have been suggesting that it will most probably fall somewhere during March or April this year.
