On the first day of the Huawei Developers Conference, Huawei took the wrap off the highly anticipated EMUI 10. The new EMUI brings along a good load of features including a refreshed user interface, an exhilarating dark mode, snappier performance, multi-screen collaboration, Huawei’s HiCar and many more.
Besides those mentioned above, the EMUI 10 also bring a major overhaul to its Always-on display. The new Always-on display (AOD) has been colorized, and will display different color depending on the time of the day. Simply put, the time and date text on the AOD will depict the same color of the sky according to the time of the day. This will definitely make the AOD much more livelier than what we had previously.
Similarly, EMUI 10 will also bring a swathe of new clock styles for your AOD – giving you more customization options than before. Along with that, there are also some new widgets which will show you the current battery status and phone notifications. These are some of the known changes which will come along with the highly anticipated update. We’ll update this space again once there are more details on other new features for the AOD.
