The last non-foldable Mi Mix series smartphone was actually launched by Xiaomi during the last quarter of 2018. Since then, there were speculations almost every year that the company will be launching a new successor for the Mi Mix 3 but that didn’t happen eventually.
Now, new rumors out of the China have suggested that the Mi Mix 4 could actually debut during the second-halve of the year. Besides that, the rumor mills have also churn out fresh information pertaining to the Mi Mix 4 which gives us a better idea on what to expect on this upcoming handset.
According to the latest leak, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 is tipped to be more expensive than the current Mi 11 Ultra flagship phone which is priced at 1,149 Euro (US$1,353) in the global market. As such, you wouldn’t be surprised if the Mi Mix 4 is priced above 1,200 Euro in the global market.
On top of that, the same leak also reiterated that the Mi Mix 4 will be arriving with an in-display selfie camera, similar to what we saw on the ZTE Axon 30 5G. However, it did warned that the overall display specs of the Mi Mix 4 could be slightly inferior as compared to that of the Mi 11 Ultra.
Another feature that’s worth noting is that the Mi Mix 4’s front display is also said to come with equally thin bezels along the four sides which could possibly provide a more immersive graphical experience for it’s users.
Though the latest leak didn’t shed light on the expected specifications of the Xiaomi Mi MiX 4, but we’d already heard from earlier reports that the phone is likely to feature either a Snapdragon 888 or 888+ chipset along with a blazing-fast 120W charging support.
