Earlier this year, 550,000 units of Galaxy S8 and S8+ were pre-ordered during a time period of 48 hours. It seems that the Galaxy Note 8 will be soon breaking this record. Within 24 hours, 395,000 units of the Note 8 have been reserved in South Korea. Analysts are of the view that around one million units of the Galaxy Note 8 would be pre-ordered by the coming Thursday.
In 2016, it took 13 days for Galaxy Note 7 pre-orders to reach 380,000 mark. It is interesting to note that the Galaxy Note 8 is the costliest Note series phablet from the company with a pricing of $960.
Samsung has also officially confirmed that in the U.S. too, the Galaxy Note 8 has achieved record number of pre-orders. The pre-orders stats coming from South Korea has revealed that the 64 GB model is the most popular variant of the Note 8. And among all the three storage models, the Deep Sea Blue color variant is very famous.
