According to a Facebook reply from Samsung Gulf, the Galaxy Note 8 will not be receiving the latest Lollipop update and the same goes to the Galaxy Note 2 as well.
However, there maybe some chances that other regions may still receive the update bearing in mind that other regional subsidiaries including South Korea, Spain and Denmark had confirmed that they will be rolling out the Lollipop update to their Galaxy Note 2 devices in this region. So the Facebook reply may be limited only to the Gulf region, which we really hope so.
