A Chinese leakster had recently claimed that Samsung could be working on a less than 4-inch premium smartphone with full screen design. Fresh information suggests that the South Korean company is working on Galaxy S9 Mini smartphone that may arrive with a 4-inch Infinity Display.
Samsung is rumored to debut the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus in February 2018. It is likely that the company may also debut Galaxy S9 Mini alongside the above-mentioned phones.
Samsung was rumored to debut smaller versions of Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S8, but they were never launched. Hence, there is no information on whether Samsung would release a Galaxy S9 Mini smartphone.
Speculations are rife that Apple may debut 4-inch iPhone SE 2 at the start of next year. Hence, the Galaxy S9 Mini could be a very strong competitor for the rumored iPhone SE 2. As of this writing, there are no details available on the specifications of the alleged Galaxy S9 Mini. However, as stated above, the rumored smartphone may house an 18.5:9 Infinity Display and it may feature similar innards that will be present inside the Galaxy S9 and S9+.
If the Galaxy S9 Mini really exists, we will soon see leaked information on it in the coming weeks. Do you think that Samsung will launch Galaxy S9 Mini next year? Let us know your opinions by adding your comments below.
